Bach Team is Hiring a Truck Driver Near Draper, UT
Description
Pivot Excavation is currently hiring a FULL-TIME Truck Driver to work YEAR-ROUND. This is not an entry level position and a Class A CDL is required. Candidates must be willing to operate side dumps and truck & pups. Pay will be negotiated and based on experience.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Driver will be required to keep an accurate daily time log and perform daily inspections as required by federal DOT law
- Must be reliable and a self starter
- Properly track and document work
- Report any issues or incidents to the superintendent
- Perform other duties as needed which may include occasional general labor
- Report any maintenance requests promptly to the manager

Qualifications:
- Class A CDL required with medical card.
- DOT drug and alcohol testing is done regularly
- 2 plus years in tractor/trailer experience.
- Experience with side dump, and truck & pup
- Experience with transporting equipment is a plus
- Knowledgeable about the industry and local gravel pits
- Heavy equipment experience preferred but not required
- Clean, organized, and detailed orientated
- Applicants must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. Must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. All candidates must have a clean MVR to drive company vehicles. Smoking is prohibited in all company equipment/vehicles.
Working Conditions
- Work five (5) days during the week. Weekend work possible to meet certain deadlines
- Physical ability to tolerate inclement weather and adverse site conditions
- Tolerance for stress due to tight deadlines and short notice on changes
- Participate in regular production meetings and onsite team meetings
