Job Overview: The B&H Explora development team creates and maintenance the B&H Explora website and ensures their compatibility with the B&H shopping site. Under minimal supervision, the Developer creates advanced to highly complex code structures using Symphony Framework, PHP, JavaScript and SQL Query languages. Possessing an expert knowledge of multiple web programming languages and object-oriented design, the incumbent will understand how to create and manipulate the architectural framework of code design creating custom modules for the Drupal 9 framework. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for short- and long-term projects. Assignments given will be of high business importance and require stringent completion. Tests will be conducted in different stages to ensure the appropriate operation of code for launch in production stage. Essential Responsibilities: Creates code for website using symphony, PHP, and JavaScript. Receive advanced and high complex web development requests and track document progress into Jira. Monitor code structure at all levels of development and testing to identify need for repair as needed. Collaborate with all parties to determine need for code or development changes.Coordinate high integration projects with appropriate departments outside of web development. Additional Responsibilities: Adapt to new and evolving technologies for efficient web development integration.As assigned by Manager. Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses: 5 year experience in PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. High utilization of the Drupal 9 Framework. Familiar with the Symfony Framework.Experience creating and maintaining Custom modules in the Drupal Framework. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High level understanding of dynamic content management websites Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Drupal 9 High comprehension of HTML, CSS, Ajax, and Java propertiesResourceful, detail-oriented, and efficient research skillsExcellent grammar and writing skills, articulate communicator, and analytical and quick thinker
