We work with some of the top research organizations and facilities in the country including multiple institutes at the National Institutes of health (NIH).

Axle Informatics is currently seeking to hire a Digital Analyst to support our work at the NIH. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of website and application analytics tools, how to implement reporting and communicate data-driven insights to non-technical audiences. We are looking for a self-starter to come in and help create a framework for collecting and reporting on product utilization data. Hands-on experience, communication, collaboration skills and adaptability are crucial to success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics implementation, customization, and automation of data collection and reporting
• Leverage data to improve engagement and utilization in select digital products
• Develop cohesive measurement strategies and planning that ensures data collection aligns to client’s priorities
• Partner with implementation teams to perform code modifications, testing and deployment where appropriate
• Create and maintain all Google Analytics JavaScript tags and plugins

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent prior experience
• 3 years of analytics implementation experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.
• Experience creating dimensions, metrics on an analytics platform to support reporting requirements
• Experience creating and managing tags in a tag management system
• Experience tag testing and using emulators/mobile devices for mobile Apps
• Experience building reports and presentations on data-driven insights to clients
• Ability to work across stakeholders, analysts, designers and developers to define analytics requirements and translate them into functional deliverables
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and competing priorities
• Knowledge of client and server-side Web technologies and protocols
• Knowledge of best practices for web analytics systems, analysis and reporting tools, campaign tracking experience, experience with SEO tools

Desired Skills

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and DOM manipulation and tagging
• Experience with scripting for web analytics tool; Google Analytics
