We believe in building long term relationships We will support you to flourish in your role in a truly global company About the Opportunity As our Account Manager – Qld, NT & Islands, you will be finding new business opportunities and delivering sales within a selected number of accounts, making sure that our customers constantly get the full value of Axis. You will be working on the field, closely to our customers, making sure that you are there as a partner for them, ensuring our common success in projects. You will handle accounts on a daily basis, acting as a professional interface between the accounts and Axis. This position is based in Brisbane with responsibility for key accounts the Queensland, Northern Territory and Pacific Islands region. The role will have a requirement to travel domestically with some international travel. Key Responsibilities Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up on KPI’s on these Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities Work closely with the system integrators and train them in order to develop the project pipeline and close projects Develop and nurture long term stakeholder relationships Prepare sales reports for new and existing projects Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experience working with indirect sales, bonus points if you are in a technical sales position from the IT or Security industry Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure an advantage Able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be able to travel as required Skills, abilities, and behaviours Being a bearer of our company culture Driven, proactive, and self-motivated team player Has good organizational skills, and able to handle multiple priorities Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Enterprise selling skills Problem solving skills Be a team player, flexible and collaborative by nature Confident to present and share point of view Positive mind-set and can-do attitude What we have to offer When you join Axis, you enter a workplace that fosters community, creativity, and commitment.
