Axient/SEG's NAVY business sector is growing! We are currently looking for an experienced Deputy Program Manager interested in joining our team upon contract award.
As part of a winning team you will support the PEO IWS 1TE technical and programmatic effort for test and evaluation of surface combatant and carrier large deck combat systems programs at the Naval Surface Warfare Center/Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. and other NAVSEA field sites.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of: Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA I in Program Management Communication and Briefing Skills Program Management experience running a large support services contract with subcontractors Experience with cost, schedule and performance management as it relates to program execution. Program and Personnel Management Financial Management Risk Management Policies and Assessment
Must have a BS degree in technical or managerial discipline and 8 years professional experience in program/project management along with demonstrated knowledge and experience as listed above. Must have current certification as PMP or DAWIA III. Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. Must be a US citizen to meet clearance eligibility requirements.
