Kids Care Facilitator

Location: Avondale

Job Type: Part-time

Salary Range: $16.00 per hour

Hours: M TH F 6-8 a.m./ 3-6 p.m.; T 6-8 a.m./ 2- 6 p.m.; and W 6-8 a.m./ 1-6 p.m.

How You Will Make a Difference at Sun Valley Academy

As the Kids Care Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating, supervising and ensuring the safety of our scholars before and after school hours. You will also:

• Supervise and ensure student safety and discipline.
• Meets regularly with supervisor and Kids Care staff members.
• Plans and offers different activities.
• Provides oral and written reports.
• Follows procedures and policies for operation of the program.
• Establishes and maintains communication with members of the school staff about student needs and aspects of the before and after school program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar program as Kids Care
• Meets the age requirement of the Department of Health Services (i.e. 18 years of age)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Completed TB Test results

PREFERRED Qualifications:

• College level credits on Early Education or closely related field
• At least one (1) year of experience in a similar program as Kids Care
