A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will manage all monthly/quarterly financial close, forecast, and reporting models related to the business segments you own. The ideal candidate has expertise in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business discussions around enhancing profitability. Senior Financial Analyst Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $65-$70/hr
• Worksite: Leading audio video, audio, and voice technologies company (San Francisco, CA 94103, Must be local to San Francisco Bay Area)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment, Possible extension/conversion

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: 

• Independently manage all monthly/quarterly financial close, forecast, and reporting models related to the business segments you own
•  Proactively engage with business partners to drive all aspects of licensing revenue forecasting and reporting.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies in the organization.
• proactively identify and propose solutions to complex and ambiguous problems with minimal direction from the manager.
• Independently manage all monthly/quarterly financial close, forecast, and reporting models related to the business segments you own.
• Continuously looking for innovative ways to improve the use and ease of analytics for interpretation by your business partners.
• Establish strong lines of communication within the finance team and with business partners to raise issues and provide insight for decision-making.
• Supports the Cinema Products and Services within the larger Entertainment team.
• Forecast of finished good production based on the manufacturing team's the schedule/capacity.
• Calculate the cost of products sold.
• Supported product-level revenue and margin planning efforts during the annual operating planning cycles.

Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications: 

• 5 years of relative experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting.
• Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business discussions around enhancing profitability.
• Product and Hardware experience in accounting/finance (Cisco, IBM, etc).
• SAP and SAP BI experience is a plus.
• Experience in forecasting for products and hardware.
• Financial analysis and forecast for all physical components.
• Sales forecasting for revenue for products that are built in-house.
• Business Partnering - effective communications with leadership, able to act as SME on forecasting for products in charge of.
• Clear verbal and written communications.
• Advances Excel skills - comfortable with large sets of data and able to present data in an easily understandable way to various audiences.
• Revenue and gross margin analysis by hardware.

Shift:

• 9/80 work schedule.
