Description
Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the daily entry of vendor invoices into the company ERP, analysis of vendor statements, and communication with vendors; and will also become the owner/administrator of our Concur expense reimbursement process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and code vendor invoices.
- Process vendor invoices into DocLink and Microsoft Dynamic SL.
- Issue vendor payments.
- Prepare daily customer cash deposit.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing company mail.
- Resolve vendor issues, reconcile vendor statements, answer vendors questions.
- Maintain corporate office supplies.
- Scan and index documents into a document management system.
- Setup employees in SAP Concur.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma required and at least 2 years of high-volume AP experience in a corporate environment. An Associates or Bachelor’s in accounting or related degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in data entry with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics SL.
- Advanced Excel skills required, such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Reporting, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
- Familiarity with SAP Concur is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and manage several different projects at a time with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates sound judgement and ability to resolve vendor issues through data analysis.
- Excellent work habits and attendance with a stable work history.
- Must be able to sit at a desk keying into a PC for long periods. Some standing and use of light office machines (postage machine, envelope stuffer, copier).
