ATS Hiring a Software QA Analyst! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyzes, gains understanding of, and gathers product requirements from business as well as technical perspectives.Gathers test scope and develops test scenarios, test cases and traceability matrix.Participates in analysis, design and development of test lifecycle.Participates in framework design and suggests solutions to improve Test Script design and its coverage.Develops Unit / Integration / Migration System test plan and define the scope of testing.Participates in test execution and analyzing test results and performing root cause analysis of defects.Identifies, reproduces, and isolates bugs found via debugging and performance analysis tools.Performs defect analysis, including reporting and tracking of defects.Explores and solves technical issues.Implements and evolves appropriate measurements and metrics pertaining to the project.Coordinates with internal team and other stakeholders to deliver the project with high quality and ensures that the project runs smoothly on time and to the satisfaction of the customer.Participates in team meetings and periodic publishing of project reports.OTHER DUTIES:Provides occasional after-hours application support.Performs other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to read and comprehend written documents.Excellent skills in writing and maintaining test plans, test bundles, and testing strategies.Working knowledge in performance testing of components.Ability to design and execute compatibility tests.Ability to drive collaboration among developers and customers.Ability to work in a team environment.Strong time management skills.Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred.Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a related Quality Assurance position.EMPLOYER’S RIGHTS:This job description is not a contract for employment and either party may terminate employment at any time.
