AVER is looking to hire an Enterprise Architect to support systems engineering lifecycle activities, advising, and assisting technical staff in the development and dissemination of technical documentation. This role will support the development of required technical, systems, and functional architecture views, design documents, security documentation, and technical plans for IT engineering, hardware, and enterprise architecture activities. Primary duties will include collaboration with stakeholders, business representatives and subject matter experts to identify and analyze capability gaps and translate strategic objectives into the development of functional and systems IT requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Interact with stakeholders and SMEs to understand capability needs and translate into programmatic documentation.
• Collaborate with solution and network architects to support the design and planning of a new program focused on replacing an outdated legacy solution.
• Gather, analyze, and compose technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
• Advise customers on navigating DHS Acquisition and Systems Engineering Lifecyle governance processes and procedures.
• Assist the Government in ensuring that the appropriate technologies are delivered according to cost, schedule and performance objectives and implemented in synchronization with mission needs.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Forensics, or related discipline

Experience Requirements:

• Professional certification such as Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or others required.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
