Job Summary: The Project Manager performs analysis and planning functions using a high level of judgment and initiative with minimum supervision and direction. They will support and guide the team to enable them to work independently. They act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and track requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. They will also elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering sessions, business process descriptions, scenarios, and data analysis. Proactively communicating and collaborating with project stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Leading a team of business analysts and developers through SDLC and O&M support.
• Analyze and document business processes.
• Gathering requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations and proposing solutions.
• The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work directly with client technical and management personnel.
• Quickly understanding the client’s business issues and data challenges.
• Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
• Assuming responsibility for the completion of and quality of project deliverables.
• Creating and managing project plans and schedules
• Identifying and managing risks
• Motivating team and mentoring BAs to follow best practices
• Up to 30% travel

Education and Experience:

• 8 years’ of experience as a Business Analyst
• 5 years’ leading and managing initiatives from initiation to completion of work.
• 5 years’ experience using analytical, problem solving, research, and time management skills.
• 5 years’ experience analyzing complex business processes in order to develop business requirements and functional specifications.
• Demonstrated project management skills, techniques, and methodology.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Business acumen 
• Experience with Agile development 
• High level of experience with Microsoft Project

Desired Skills: 

• Experience with .Net
• Experience with VB.Net
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Oracle Forms

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
