General Purpose:

The Chief Financial Officer leads and directs the organizations accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting activities, treasury management, and strategic financial planning.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate strategic financial planning and execution in coordination with the leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • Review and monitor key financial indicators (forecasts, expense ratios, cash flow, etc.) on a continuous basis and make recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer, General Managers, and other leaders.
  • Identify and recommend alternate financial strategies and opportunities for the company.
    • Expansion, facilities, investments, etc.
  • Develop and maintain key financial relationships including manufacturers, vendors and banking resources.
  • Ensure that effective, efficient systems and processes are in place to provide timely, secure, and accurate financial data in compliance with all policies, laws and regulations, including appropriate checks, balances and audits.
  • Ensure that accounting policies and procedures are in place and enforced, including confidentiality of customer and employee data.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing accounting department in ways that sustain high productivity and morale.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Responsible for the supervision of the Accounting Team in both business units.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Proven finance leader with track record of success
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and influencing abilities
  • Experience leading an organization through M&A transactions
  • Broad array of knowledge across financial areas including US GAAP, FP&A, and FIS with the ability to translate this into actionable improvement plans
  • Demonstrated record of developing effective relationships with finance and business leaders
  • Strong record as a people manager, including team leadership and people development.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business discipline is required
  • MBA or CPA preferred

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
  • Meet driving record (MVR) standards, criminal history background checks, employment verification, and drug screen will be required prior to the start of employment.
