Reporting to the Senior Product Director, the Product Analyst will support the Analytics and AI product team working collaboratively with the larger product management and product development organization including Data and AI and other product and scrum teams to build an analytics foundation and expand our data science and reporting capabilities within our new Cloud based platform environment. This associate will have independent project work, as well as work collaboratively with their team daily to provide updates and ensure that everyone is on track to meet the overall roadmap expectations. You will work in a growth area addressing areas of opportunity with data driven capabilities. This team is highly collaborative and constantly engages with each other both on team and individual efforts to ensure project execution while allowing autonomy. You will work across the organization representing the needs of our client base and the market. To be qualified for this position, you: Have a minimum of 1-year related experience supporting a product, ideally within the healthcare technology space. Have a bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience and education. Have excellent communication skills - be able to speak on both a business and technical level and interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Are familiar with ANSI and EDI X12 transactions. Have attention to detail and strong analytical skills. What will set you apart: You have HL7 experience. You have reporting experience. You are familiar with the Product Development and Management Lifecycle in addition to Agile. You have experience with SQL, Jira, and Confluence. What you will be doing: Partnering with the product management team (Product Director, Product Managers and Product Owners), the members of the Data and AI organization and the larger technology organization to develop new analytics capabilities. Examining market requirements and breaking them into consumable user stories. Analyzing data in support of requirements to inform direction Validating data quality and usability Creating documentation and source to target mappings as necessary Analyzing and handling production support work. Coordinating and attending meetings with the development team and project stakeholders Assisting and/or filling in for the Product Owner on update calls and project work as needed Working with clients to triage and troubleshoot issues Availity culture and benefits: Availity has recently been named a certified “Great Place to Work”!
