The Application Support team leader primary functions are to be an escalation point for critical issues, monitor day to day activities, and act as a backup for the Application Support Manager. Management of staff is required in the Application Support Manager’s absence. The ideal candidate must have the ability to identify, escalate and communicate critical incidents and follow them through to resolution. Sponsorship, in any form, is not available for this position. Ability to manage multiple projects and work multiple assignments concurrently Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills Proven track record troubleshooting critical issues on complex, high-traffic systems Ability to analyze and optimize all major aspects of server-side performance Excellent organizational skills and discipline to follow through Ability to manage a significant flow of communication (email, teams, ticket comments, etc.) Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel Ability to professionally communicate with external customers Experienced in troubleshooting various systems Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL You will set yourself apart: Knowledge of Healthcare ANSI X12 transaction sets, specifically 837P, 837I, 835, 270/271, 276/277 Experience with Enterprise Monitoring Tools: Splunk, SolarWinds, New Relic Software development experience a plus Scheduling Software: ActiveBatch and Tidal If you have previous leadership experience You will be: Escalating and communicating any unresolved critical issues within a timely manner to the Application Support Manager Monitoring critical systems with Splunk and act as lead for resolution of issues. This includes following communication guidelines to notify appropriate parties Troubleshooting complex issues across various Windows systems Managing tickets and audits regarding service level agreements Performing as a backup to the Application Support Manager for processes that include, but are not limited to: Invoice Reporting process as well as other executive level reporting needs using SQL and PL/SQL reports Change Management Active Batch administrator Run team meetings Providing training for new Application Support technologists. Providing support and information to team members regarding department policies and procedures, escalation of issues and application/system knowledge.
