The Systems Engineer is responsible for ongoing support, maintenance, debugging and enhancements for the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll module. Provide expert level Payroll functional and technical knowledge while supporting and enhancing the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll system. Strong data analysis skills and the ability to build complex data extraction processes using SQL and technical integration tools.
Ability to analyze complex issues or business requirements and produce detailed technical design specifications while following company standards. Strong functional expertise in the Payroll area and the ability to tie business requirements to system functionality. Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction. Document interface architecture and plans for implementation with customer/vendors.
Experience in supporting Payroll processes and ability to research and resolve technical issues quickly. Strong knowledge of relational databases and experience with data extractions, transformations and integrations with internal and external parties.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Information Technology or related field required
Typically requires 4-7 years of demonstrated experience
2 years of experience PeopleSoft or Oracle EBS or any other ERP Payroll system, Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll a plus
Experience deploying capabilities for large service-driven organizations
Strong technical, analytical and communication skills along with a team-oriented attitude
