Embark on a career in supplying the nuclear industry with specialized products proudly made here in the heart of North Carolina! Orano is seeking a Painter Automated Systems for our Kernersville, NC facility. Under moderate supervision, this position will be responsible for operating and driving improvements of automated coating system in our Kernersville, NC facility. The qualified candidate will have the experience, background and knowledge to work with the manufacturer on customizations as needed. Additional responsibilities may include the following: Commit to safety and health procedures. Programming of automated systems. Follow all Orano/TNF standards, SOPs, procedures, and verbal instructions Perform rigging, either by assisting or leading the task, to transport parts throughout the facility. Operate automated coating system. Abrasively blast product in fabrication phases or as final assemblies. Paint finished product. Follow shop travelers with minimal supervision. Work flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service. Grind welds, blend parts, remove burrs, wire brush parts, steel stamp parts, clean parts with solvent or steam, wrap parts with plastic and/or tarps for shipment, and help load parts as required. Straighten assemblies, as required, throughout various stages of fabrication. Operate various saws and other equipment as required. Assist maintenance and other shop or office personnel in moving of handling materials, parts, equipment, furniture, or other items as required.
