An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual, passionate in Sales to join the Pier One Sydney Harbour team. This role oversees the day to day functions of the Sales team, working alongside the leadership team.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sales, core work activities include

  • Performing general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying).
  • Preparing sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
  • Promoting awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Gathering materials and assembling information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials).
  • Using sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
  • Answer guest questions
  • Monitor and nurture opportunities until they are ready for the Sales team to service
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while supporting your team to reach common goals
  • Effectively manage, coordinate, and develop trusted key relationships with prominent internal and external stakeholders
