Job Requisition ID # 23WD70804 Position Overview This is a Senior Product Management role reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance Product Management in the Enterprise Systems & Experience (ESE) which is Autodesk’s Information Technology (IT) organization. Autodesk is seeking a Sr. Product Manager with deep experience in Finance Applications to join the Finance Product Management Group within ESE. This is an individual-contributor role with a high level of influence and responsibility. The ESE Product Management teams are chartered with the Plan & Build phases of a wide portfolio of software and applications supporting Autodesk’s business activities. We are making huge investments in Cloud Based Finance Toolsets, AI and ML, Big Data and Enterprise Data Management. As part of that, we have a need for a seasoned professional with deep proficiency in finance application technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of the SAP and RAR, Finance, accounting, budgeting and planning process, as well as experience working with engineering teams to develop feature functionality for key finance, accounting, and executive stakeholders across the organization. Location: Hybrid/Remote, San Francisco, CA Responsibilities Define, evangelize, and continuously evolve a holistic product vision and strategy for the Product capability set, identifying new areas of impact through market and user research, while driving business outcomes across the enterprise through improved self-service, automation, and intelligent product experiences Include product principles to help the team succeed through evolving business needs and continuously drive to achieve the greatest business impact through experimentation and learning Define and publish rolling 12-month roadmaps aligning to business goals, while providing product though leadership to land quantifiable impact throughout execution Contribute to strategy definition and realization as the Product Management leader for the capability set Define OKRs including the measurement methodology, baseline, and targets by quarter, supported by a high confidence roadmap to land the committed business impact Oversee successful delivery of roadmap commitments in partnership with Eng and UX “Triad,” with Product Management ultimately accountable for landing business impact as the “CEO of product capability set” Lead through uncertainty with proactive anticipation and mitigation of issues and risks, managing stakeholders, and guiding the team towards the north start vision & strategy that you’ve defined Define and drive a Capability Roadmap for Finance Applications, in collaboration with other key stakeholders Identify customer needs as they pertain to product definition and delivery related to areas of business focus identified by our Business Strategy Coordinate with architects, development teams, business owners and business architects to identify needs and articulate feedback to engineering teams Minimum Qualifications Finance applications background and experience SAP and ERP implementations for SaaS companies 8 years of experience in product management 2 years of experience in delivering roadmaps in the finance software applications space Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical Excellent presentation skills and ease in speaking in front of large groups BS Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience working with geographically diverse teams and remote employees a plus Technical fluency; understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and new opportunities with technical team members You are a natural leader with a vision You know how to motivate and inspire your agile teams to be thought leaders You understand your job is to sometimes stay out of the way You can spot and attract amazing talent You have a passion for being a mentor and a teacher You have a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously You take risks and can make quick decisions You can take vague requirements, clarify and drive them to execution You have a passion for continuous integration and continuous delivery #LI-DT1 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,800 and $211,640. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
