Marketing Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Executive

REPORTING TO: Director of Business Development and Marketing

LOCATION: Eugene (flexibility for 1-2 days remote)

STATUS: Exempt (salaried)

POSITION IS 0.80 FTE, SALARIED; BASED ON 32-HOUR WORK WEEK (FULL BENEFITS).

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Marketing Coordinator, you manage daily marketing functions under the supervision of the Director of Business Development and Marketing. In addition, you provide administrative support to the staff in the Eugene Office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide marketing & graphic design support to Business Development Manager.
• Create social media content and implement social media plan.
• Earn new business by representing Ausland with potential clients and at community events (e.g. Chamber)
• Create and distribute e-newsletters.
• Create and send out press releases for “earned advertising”.
• Coordinate and order company SWAG and client gifts.
• Assist with proposal writing and responses to RFP’s
• Coordinate marketing information management and assets.
• Maintain updated website.
• Maintain control over company branding
• Provide 360-degree support to Eugene office staff, including:
  • Act as point person for office mailing, office supplies and errands.
  • Coordinate IT office needs as required.
  • Host team lunches, gatherings in office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or five years successfully performing equivalent job duties described.
• Target of two years or greater experience marketing in professional service industry.
• General understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures.
• Advanced persuasive and expository writing skills.
• Exceptional skills with computerized graphics and layout.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines; work well under pressure.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Sitting (or driving) in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
• Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), i.e.: using a keyboard.
• Communication using the spoken word.
• Ability to see and hear within normal parameters.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
