These roles can be based in either Sydney or the Newcastle region. Some of the duties your role will include: Conduct geotechnical desktop studies to identify geotechnical hazards Scope geotechnical investigations to obtain project specific site conditions Engaging and managing subcontractors on the field for geotechnical site investigation Participating in geotechnical site investigation and construction phase supervision while complying with sustainability and safety requirements. Undertake geotechnical engineering design and analysis on infrastructure projects (Energy & Water), demonstrating analytical and critical thinking skills. Produce geotechnical engineering calculations and outputs, using relevant software such as gINT, Geostudio and Plaxis. Prepare geotechnical reports (desktop study / factual report / smaller project interpretive reports) independently to high quality level. Has an understanding of and complies with industry standards, Australian standards and conventions in technical documentation.
