As our new Lead Process Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the QLD Industrial team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Not to mention playing a key part in the exciting space of Hydrogen production. Your role will include: Engaging with different teams across our projects to reach successful outcomes for the client Delivering detailed design studies for a range of clients Supporting and working in pre-FEED and FEED studies for both greenfield and brownfield projects A willingness to teach and mentor younger engineers to grow their technical skills and boost their confidence Ability to contribute to capability and systems development Interest and passion in circular economies with a view to drive down emissions and improving sustainability across industry Leading project process engineering team in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages Participate and gain exposure in HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID and other safety in design workshops How will your future be shaped by us? As well as experience in a similar process engineering role we are looking for: Appropriate qualifications in Chemical Engineering RPEQ qualification Demonstrated experience in Chemical/Process Engineering roles, ideally as a Lead Prior experience in leading detailed design scopes and multidisciplinary/interface management Thorough knowledge of project delivery/ implementation models Have strong written and verbal communication skills Previous experience working to help clients maintain and operate large and aging assets in a consulting environment would be highly regarded Prior experience managing teams of engineers across different disciplines to help our clients navigate complex challenges Previous exposure to EPC/EPCM delivery would be advantageous Think you know Aurecon?
