QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years experience in broadcast facilities with minimum 2 years Associates degree in electronics or 5 years hands-on maintenance experience with AM and/or FM transmitters, two-way, STL & studio audio at a professional radio or television facility. Basic knowledge of personal computers is a must. Knowledge of digital audio & logic techniques & systems is highly desirable. SBE Certification preferred; knowledge of CAD systems & techniques desirable. Valid state driver’s license for operation of company vehicles is required. Personal vehicle is required for 24hr. response for emergencies. Management experience and/or training desirable: excellent customer service skills are required. Motor vehicle report will be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
