We are happy to consider candidates in any location for this (remote/hybrid) position so long as they reside within reasonable commuting distance to one of our markets. 

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $160,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team in designing and developing enterprise level software solutions.
• Lead architecture and development decisions for the product.
• Servant leader who puts the team first to unblock, train, motivate, and create a positive team culture.
• Defining testing requirements, and authoring Unit and Behavioral cases plus working alongside QA to ensure quality.
• Participating in Tech Spikes and Feasibility studies to help flesh out new ideas and unknowns.
• Partnering with development, product support, QA and other teams to make the best product we can.
• Assess daily and weekly team objectives and monitor output.
• Identify team bottlenecks in any area and work with the respective stakeholders to solve them.
• Ability to break technical concepts down and share with non-technical stakeholders.
• Contributing using your awesome verbal and written communication skills.
• Acquiring new skills, broadening existing skills, and contributing to others through knowledge sharing – we are better together.

Qualifications

• Experience writing modern languages; GoLang and NodeJS strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills.
• 8 years of engineering experience as a back-end or full-stack developer
• Experience building services that scale.
• Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs to be consumed by internal, public, and partner applications.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Architectures, Load Balancing, DNS, Firewalls, and Networking as it applies to system design.
• Experience designing SQL DBs and NOSQL DBs as well as data structures for software architectures.
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the radio broadcast or streaming industry preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
