Atwell LLC is Hiring a Landscape Designer Near Lawrenceville, GA

Overview

The Landscape Designer is a non-licensed designer that assists project leadership in all aspects of project design, development, and documentation through all phases of a project. The Staff Designer prepares, coordinates, and assembles project documents as directed by project leadership.

Responsibilities

- Attends office staff and scheduling meetings - Performs project tasks reliably and effectively and in a timely manner - Collaborates and effectively communicates with project team and consultants - Prepares project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials - Assists with and attends project meetings and client presentations - Prepares meeting minutes - Responds to Project Manager and Client requests - Prepares and coordinates CAD and other project documents - Prepares presentation materials and participates in project presentations - Prepares takeoffs and assists with cost estimation - Assists with preparation of project specifications - Assists with Construction Administration activities and makes site visits - Assists in project submittal review - Manages project files - Prepares and organizes project materials - Reports progress to Project Manager

Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture - 0-2 years of professional design experience in private practice design firm - Well-developed skills with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office suite software. REVIT skills are a plus - Advanced digital and hand rendering skills - Excellent communications skills - Contract document layout and production knowledge - Recommended: one or more student internships with private-practice design firm
