Overview: We are the Brandon J. Broderick Attorney at Law, one of the fastest growing Law Firms in the Tri-state area. We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of five years of litigation experience, including at least two years focused on employment law, to join our growing New York practice and represent individuals in employment-related claims.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, and whistleblower claims.
· Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
· Collaborate with support staff in developing effective and efficient litigation strategies.
· Oversee case-related resources and timelines to ensure efficient progression of cases.
· Foster meaningful relationships with clients by providing regular updates and empathetic guidance throughout the legal process.
· Remain up to date with the latest developments in employment law, industry trends, and precedents to inform case strategies and client representation.
· Actively contribute to the expansion of our firm by identifying potential growth opportunities, participating in networking events, and showcasing your expertise.
Qualifications:
· Active membership in the New York State Bar, in good standing.
· Minimum of five years of comprehensive litigation experience in New York State and Federal Courts, including a minimum of two years of practice in employment law.
· Demonstrated proficiency in independently managing all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.
· Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills and adeptness in building strong client relationships.
· Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
