What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Social Media Manager with a well-rounded skill set to join our rapidly growing Agency team. You will be responsible for leading social content strategy and execution for a high impact, executive client. The successful candidate will use their social media prowess to realize polished and impactful content in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include:

*This is a contract position until the EOY with the potential to extend. Position is remote but must be able to work on EST hours.

  • Own all organic social and community strategy and execution across one brand’s social media portfolio, based on content goals established by client
    • Build and iterate on a client-facing social media playbook covering best practices as relevant to client’s priority platforms and goals
    • Develop editorial calendar for brand, recommending well-informed posting dates/times for 8-12 pieces of content each month
    • Develop and maintain a culture and industry calendar, consisting of culturally relevant moments that may influence brand’s content month over month
    • Schedule and publish approved content across brand’s social platforms
    • Engage (like comment) with other content in brand’s industry, across brand, creator, agency, and celebrity content
    • Moderate comments on brand’s content (remove hate speech or other highly inappropriate comments not captured by platforms’ filters and adding new blocked words to the comment filter)
    • Monitor brand mentions and relevant hashtags for reactive content opportunities and escalate to stakeholders
    • Analyze performance metrics and recommend optimizations for future content
  • Lead content creation as briefed by clients for ~8-12 pieces of content each month
    • Draft all copy (in-content and post copy) for all content
    • Leverage existing Canva design templates to create static assets to be used in content
    • Partner with creative and design leads to execute bespoke content requests
    • Help develop brand tone of voice and point of view
    • Flawlessly execute real-time amplification requests to cover breaking industry happenings, awards, and any other client requests
  • Liaise with clients to address timely requests and communicate strategic and creative recommendations
    • Present content plans (strategy, concept, copy, designs) to client, and address feedback as needed
    • Partner with key client POC to ensure client is aware of project status at all times
    • Leverage ATTN: ethos and best practices across all content and deliverables

Who You Are:

  • 5 years of creative agency, in-house, or relevant marketing experience
  • Experience in entertainment and media industries, with working knowledge of competitive space in the entertainment and streaming industry at-large
  • Extended knowledge of the social media space, inclusive of best practices and key metrics
  • Proficient writer for social content, solid aesthetic sense and ability to design leveraging templates
  • Eagerness to test and learn while not compromising integrity or quality of content, brand voice, or social platform styles
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a keen eye for creative best practices
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to manage several workflows at once
  • Strong problem solving skills to help find win-win solutions for the client and agency as challenges arise
  • Proven and pristine verbal and written communication skills including client email and phone etiquette
  • Ability to stand in front of a client with comfort in presenting and handling client business as a lead point of contact
  • Excited to be in a fast-paced startup environment with a fun, collaborative and energetic team
  • Experience in PR, talent management, or B2B is a plus
  • Mandatory to work east coast hours
