Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Security Guard is to ensure the safety of the guests, associates and property.
Work Performed:
TheSecurity Guardwill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Ensure the safety of guests, associates, and hotel propertyalways;
Perform security patrols throughout all areas of the hotel andgrounds;
Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining acourteous, tactful and helpfuldemeanor;
Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests(and escalates per protocol as appropriate);
Create reports on all activities during eachshift;
Draft incidentreports;
Monitor associates entering and leaving thehotel;
Collect packagesreceived by propertyand inspects parcels taken from theproperty;
Monitor the back entrance and receivingdock;
Checks all personnel entering and provides information and direction upon proper identification of all job applicants, salesmen,etc.;
De-escalate situations between associates and/orguests;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, includingreportingaccidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to managementand
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
