Aleknagik Technology, LLC is seeking a Video Teleconference Technician. Must have demonstrated experience or desire to learn VTC system infrastructure and both hard and soft endpoints. Experience with Polycom and Cicso/Tandberg equipment is preferred. Demonstrated experience with the operation of integrated computer-based audio-visual and telepresence systems with minimal oversight. Demonstrated experience with meeting and room scheduling software. Experience with Meeting Room Manager, Outlook and LANDesk is preferred. Ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple calendaring and reservation systems. Demonstrated experience with all phases of the system life cycle concerning audio-visual and telepresence systems. Ability to effectively communicate with system users both verbally and in writing. Required Skills: Demonstrated experience in operation and configuration of audio-visual and telepresence systems (in particular, Polycom, Cisco/Tandberg, Crestron and Extron equipment) Demonstrated experience with meeting and room scheduling software (experience with Meeting Room Manager, Outlook and LANDesk is preferred) Demonstrated ability to implement and operate various types of fully integrated computer-based systems with minimal oversight Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Experience with audio-visual systems and presentations Working knowledge of Crestron and Extron control systems Excellent Customer Service skills Secret Clearance Must have 8570 compliant IAT level I certification (A CE, NET CE) to start. Preferred Experience: Experience with Polycom and Jabber soft endpoints Experience with Polycom and Cisco telepresence infrastructure devices Experience with programming Crestron equipment Strong PC skills Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint Familiarity with LANDesk (or other Help Desk trouble ticketing systems)
