Atlas Immersion Academy is looking for apatient and compassionate assistant teacherwith experience working with children ages birth-5 years old. The assistant teacher will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage students' healthy physical, social, and emotional development, while also expanding children’s multi-lingual language abilities.

Our Assistant Teachers will:

• Assist Head Teachers with age-appropriate lessons and learning activities

• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect

• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe

• Manage the routine and environment of the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all.

• Observe & Assess: observing and documenting the development of children and evaluating the achievement of developmental milestones

• Professionally communicate with parents on a daily basis about their child's development, progress, and milestones.

• Support the needs of the school through various tasks such as setting up lunch/snacks for children, light cleaning duties, and organizing materials when needed

• Enrolled in the Central Background Registry

• CPR and First Aid Certification

• Able to lift up to 45 lbs

• Bilingual or full fluency in Spanish/French/Mandarin language
