Role Objective:

The Director of Recruiting is a proven aviator and functional team leader. The role is tasked with ensuring that the company’s dedication to exceptional service level and operational delivery is upheld. The Director of Training, under the direction of the Vice President, leads the Pilot Recruiting effort and works closely with the organization’s dispatch and flight operations teams to meet and exceed the hiring goals of the company. The functions of the Charter Sales Manager are to ensure the following tasks are completed either directly or delegated to subordinates: This will also include ensuring that all new hires are interfaced professionally and competently. The overall goal of our organization is to provide safe high class aircraft charters, efficiently. Specifically, the duties of the Recruiting Department as follows:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist department head in setting, implementing, and achieving department goals/priorities/ procedures/ policies
  • Oversee day-to-day activity of the Recruiting Team, manage pilot pipelines, hiring plans and operational goals
  • Manage team workload(s) in order to meet department policies, procedures, expectations and deadlines
  • Collaborate with training department personnel
  • Maintain strong understanding of factors influencing the industry and company, including seasonality, competition, supply/demand, and other(s)
  • Utilize industry knowledge and experience to suggest improvements to hiring processes and other business functions
  • Analyze hiring pipelines and collaborate with 3rd party training centers to ensure proper scheduling of training for new hires
  • Utilize industry knowledge and experience to suggest improvements to retention, workplace happiness, and other business functions
  • Attend weekly OPS & Sales Meetings
  • Ensure all reporting to Flight Operations is accurate 
  • Other tasks as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience of 3 years in the private aviation industry
  • Management/supervisory experience
  • Proficient ability to use typical office productivity software
  • Legal right to work permanently in the United States

Work Location:

  • This position is remote with occasional travel to company offices in Dallas and El Paso. This position may require travel to destinations outside of company offices for special events such as recruiting events and industry trade shows
