Are you a self-starting and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk? This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Oak Brook, Illinois area. Robert Half is partnering with a growing Real Estate & Property company who is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to join the accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk's duties will be to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. A strong candidate for this job will be looking for career growth potential, and be capable of processing 200 invoices per week.Verification of Accounts Receivable:Review and reconcile accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy.Investigate discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.Coordinate with internal teams to validate transactional data.Reporting:Develop and maintain reporting processes to track accounts receivable performance.Generate periodic reports summarizing key metrics such as outstanding balances, aging analysis, and collection trends.Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis of AR data.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend changes as needed.Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.Assist in audits by providing accurate and timely data as required.
