ATA Services, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resource Specialist Near Santa Fe, NM

ATA Services is seeking to hire an experienced Human Resources Specialist to work on a 3 to 6-month temporary assignment in Santa Fe.

  • New Mexico Environment Department
  • $25.00 per hour
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment duration: 3 – 6 months
  • Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 1190 St. Francis Dr., Santa Fe
  • THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN SANTA FE OR THE SURROUNDING AREA

Job Duties:

  • Processing payroll
  • Job recruitment and placement
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining the employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
  • Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration classification, and an understanding of state regulations regarding FLSA.
  • Handle confidential HR personnel documents.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources role
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience (preferably state payroll using SHARE software)
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing software
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and analytically driven
