Senior Demand Planning AnalystLocation: Smyrna, TN
Primary Function:The Sr. Analyst Demand planning position will be responsible for gathering assumptions and data across multiple clients and functions to develop, readout, and explain detailed demand forecasts that the organization will use to drive supply planning, procure products, plan labor, and minimize product excess and obsolescence costs. This individual must understand the supply chain process and a successful track record of driving improvements.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Compile and publish a 12–18-month claims forecast (refreshed monthly) for multiple clients, which will contain overall volume, and then volume at OEM and SKU levels
- Work cross functionally to align on assumptions used in the forecast cycle and analyze historical and seasonality trends
- Work cross functionally to validate and align on assumptions and present the published forecasts for internal alignment. Have a complete understanding of all assumptions that will impact demand and ultimately delight our customers with consistent, accurate forecasts
- Manage short, medium, and long-term forecast processes across the demand planning cycle:
- Lead discussions, readouts, and reviews across supply chain
- Track and measure forecast performance
- Drive S&OP principles to improve long term accuracy, bias, and stability of demand forecasts
- Minimize forecast variations to drive optimal supply planning
- Work to establish a standard forecasting model that can be used across various clients and programs
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and automation to aid in reducing forecast refresh cycles

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- 4-5 years of related supply chain experience, in a demand planning role
- B.A. or B.S. in Supply Chain Management or other related field or equivalent experience - APICS certified preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills
- Familiar with various business software programs with a strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Ability to research and develop a clear understanding of all processes and procedures related to demand planning within a supply chain network
- Experience leading high performing teams
- Demonstrated the ability to drive ‘best practice’ at developing forward demand forecasts, with a track record of improving forecast accuracy / bias / stability
