Ensuring that our Amazon (AWS) infrastructure provides optimal performance, continuity and efficiency for our hosted clients around the world.

Joining the team in as mid level engineer, you will have the opportunity to take your strong systems engineering skill-set and apply them to an AWS cloud environment. You will ensure that our Amazon (AWS) infrastructure provides optimal performance, continuity and efficiency for our hosted clients around the world. You will play an integral part in supporting and maintaining our Cloud eco-system and culture of technical excellence.

Ensuring that our Amazon (AWS) infrastructure provides optimal performance, continuity and efficiency for our hosted clients around the world.

Joining the team in as mid level engineer, you will have the opportunity to take your strong systems engineering skill-set and apply them to an AWS cloud environment. You will ensure that our Amazon (AWS) infrastructure provides optimal performance, continuity and efficiency for our hosted clients around the world. You will play an integral part in supporting and maintaining our Cloud eco-system and culture of technical excellence.

A member of our SaaS Operations team you will work to build, maintain and support cloud computing environments for our customers around the world. You will be working with cutting-edge AWS cloud services.

●Server administration (Windows 2012/2016 and Linux)

●Install, manage and maintain Asure Software suite of software products.

●Assist in the implementation, maintenance and support of servers and related applications and technologies

●Provide Tier 3 Support for internal product teams

●Assist with customer facing escalations

●IIS Web server administration, setting up sites, installing site updates, monitoring uptime.

●MS SQL DB management, installation, patching, performing backups and restores to ensure data integrity.

●Backup and Recovery principles

●Maintain SOC 2 compliance within processes and tools.

●Provide documentation and plans for our teams to manage the internal cloud environment.

●Manage and maintain our AWS Infrastructure.

●24x7 on-call rotation

What I will bring

●Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or commensurate career experience in a directly related field.

●Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time.

●4 years of experience with the support and maintenance of Windows server Active Directory based networks.

●3 years of hands on experience with the support and maintenance of virtualized systems

●Working knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012/16, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Print Services.

●Networking fundamentals, including VPN, security, and WAN concepts.

●Knowledge of scripting/deployment tools (Powershell, Terraform, bash, etc)

●Ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues

●Experience having written and presented, status reporting, technical diagrams and flowcharts.

Fortunate skills you might have

●Previous experience moving infrastructure to AWS.

●Experience with AWS Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2), S3 Storage, Systems Manager.

●Knowledge of modern service hosting, security, and risk management concerns such as IAM, access control, monitoring, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and containers

●Infrastructure automation experience throughscripting and configuration management.

●Experience with enterprise log management systems (Splunk, SumoLogic)

●AWS Certification

●Skilled critical thinker.
