Description
Overview:
ASun Star’s HR Specialist is responsible to provide administrative and process support to the Human Resources Department. The Specialist will assist administratively with day to day tasks and projects and with recruitment in reference to seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and placing them in open roles at a company.
Responsibilities:
· Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
· Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
· Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods (Paylocity, Indeed, Linked In) to filter candidates within schedule.
· Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes prior to scheduling interviews.
· Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated via Paylocity.
· Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
· Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work” during the applicant selection/interview process.
· Manager Paylocity’s recruitment suite by:
o Tracking applicants & candidates
o Ensuring that applicant’s application is complete and ready for interview.
o Scheduling Paylocity interview with hiring manager.
o Entering all relevant applicant data into Paylocity applicant tracker.
o Sifting through Indeed applications & managing Indeed’s applicant tracker.
· Manage Paylocity’s Onboarding suite by:
o Creating & launching onboarding event packets.
o Ensuring that all applicants are able to successfully complete their on boarding packets.
o Follow up with candidates to ensure that they’re aware of all deadlines required to complete onboarding packets.
· Any other duties as assigned in ASun Star’s HR Department.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Excellent written & Verbal communications skills.
· Ability to “Sell” the company and its positive working atmosphere.
· Ability to manage a fast-paced workload/environment.
Requirements
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in HR-related field or comparable experience.
· At least 1 year experience in recruiting and onboarding.
· Knowledge of HRIS employee management systems.
· Knowledge of Paylocity and/or Indeed recruiting (preferred).
· Ability to carry out a flexible work schedule and be present when needed.
