Aston Carter is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Farmington, CT

Description:

An insurance company wit over 1600 employees is in need a TA Specialist. The Recruiter will be working wit ha team of HRBPs to fill majority of their roles. right now they have 45 open requisitions and the recruiter will handle a Req load of around 15. Most positions they will be working on is IT, financial, underwriters, Accountants, etc.

Hours: M-F, 1st shift flexible

Training schedule: 3 Times a week in office

Location: Farmington, CT

Hybrid Flexibility: once a week in office

Contract: guaranteed 6 months with potential to go longer & perm.

Responsibilities:

•Recruit for exempt and non-exempt positions

•Recruitment process includes: posting jobs, coordinating interviews, conducting interviews, and partnering with hiring manager to make the best hire decision in terms of candidate selected and compensation package offered

•Utilize and maintain applicant tracking database

•Process Background Screens for all potential candidates

•All recruiting must be done within the company’s affirmative action guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of recruiting experience in medium sized volume that has support financial & It roles through the ATS Oracle & Taleo
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources.
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • A working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
