ASTON CARTER is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Virginia Beach, VA
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT| 100% REMOTE | $50hr - $60hr
Responsibilities:
This role is project based to support the subsidiary of a large government contractor that is facing bandwidth issues post acquisition. This role will be responsible for giving all around support to the Director of Finance on account reconciliations, government cost accounting, inventory & other ad hoc responsibilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of government cost accounting - indirect/direct, General & Administrative (G&A)
- Strong Inventory accounting - Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Strong overall GL experience
- Excel - pivot tables/vlookups for heavy reconciliations
Preferred Skills:
- Costpoint experience (version 7.1.1 would be ideal)
- Payroll/State/Sales Tax experience
- Stronger excel than vlookups/pivot tables
- CPA or Masters in Accounting
