SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Human Resources Generalist works as part of the HR team in a wide range of HR functions including full cycle recruiting (hourly roles), employee relations, leave administration, and HRIS management. The Human Resources Generalist works to foster positive relationships between employees and the company and provides excellent customer service with the goal of making the company a place employees want to come to work everyday and be successful.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle recruiting - Recruit new employees with an initial job requisition, seeing the entire process through to the new hire orientation to result in a recruiting process that is non-discriminatory, well organized, targeted to the correct talent pools of potential employees, and attracts top talent to meet company objectives. This position will be focused primarily on manufacturing hourly hiring.
- Post all job openings
- Manage applicant flow
- Conduct interviews
- Develop and foster relationships with recruiters and temp agencies
- Review candidates with hiring managers and advise on any potential hiring issues and recommended results.
- Work with hiring manager and any other interviewers to schedule interviews, and any appropriate testing.
- Work with hiring manager to compose offer letters. Coordinate any special issues including relocation and immigration concerns.
- Conduct new hire orientation
- Conduct stay interviews
- Conduct exit interviews with outgoing employees
- Leave management - Administer FMLA and leave policies to result in effective, non-discriminatory and legally compliant leave management. Ensure the leave
policies are communicated and followed in all situations.
- HRIS Management - Manage the Workday HRIS system to ensure accurate data, including benefits enrollments. Work with the HR Director on annual HRIS processes including open enrollment, performance reviews, and salary increases
- Compensation analysis – work as a partner with the HR Director to ensure that job descriptions, titles, and salary ranges are maintained in the hiring and promotion processes.
- Training – This position will provide training to employees and managers in a variety of HR topis. This includes:
- Workday training
- Interview training
- FMLA training
- Performance Management – work with managers to address performance and attendance concerns in a consistent manner and according to company policies.
