Description:

• This financial executive will serve as an individual that protects the organization's financial, ethical, and risk interests in addition to shaping the long-term development strategies
• Responsible for the accounting/financial reporting and operations of the company
• Exercises strategic control over planning, performance, and project management
• Executes long-term strategic planning with financial modeling and advisement
• Identifies, accelerates, and executes growth and innovation strategies - in particular as it relates to process improvement and overall cash management of the organization
• Heads the treasury department to ensure appropriate access to capital required for short-term and long-term organization projects
• Requires effective internal and external controls are in place which appropriately leads the org toward compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
• Partners closely with the Board, Executive Management, and purchasing firm with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Manages 401k review, healthcare renewal, business insurance, and other services for the business

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Over 5 years as a financial executive in the manufacturing/construction industry
• Bachelor's Degree
• MBA, CPA, and small ERP experience
• This role requires someone with years of experience in the Construction Finance/Accounting capacity with annual revenues exceeding $50M
• Seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who can help mobilize the entire organization toward cross-functional goals -
• Experience with financial modeling and projections
• QuickBooks and Fieldclicks software
• Strong leadership & management skills

Work Environment:

• Sit out of MKE or Chicago is ideal scenario - open to seeing extremely strong candidates that are perfect fits in a remote setting
• Travel would be required for this person - to Georgia, Washington, Hawaii and NJ
• Travel would be 30% of the time.
