Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

Our Client is a company based in Waltham. They need an AR Specialist to join their team to help be proactive in reaching out to customers for payments. This will not be a sole collections role. Most of the AR is done through email and not through phone.

Responsibilities entail:

• Proactively contact customers via email, telephone and letter to secure payment of overdue accounts and keep records up to date. Refer any accounts to the Debt Collection Agency as required.
• Thoroughly assess risks related to new orders.
• Consistently address customer queries within 24 hours, liaising with relevant departments if necessary.
• Work collaboratively to ensure that the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) figure is kept under the agreed limit.
• To accurately allocate and post cash and any other ad hoc duties as deemed necessary.
• Report any issues to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader or Manager
• Review data uploaded to shared access and identify critical information
• Document and maintain tracking of all key information
• Partner with team members to build and document critical data and information
• Tie over data for upload into ERP integration
• Create information trackers

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excel Experience
• Prior ERP experience
• Good communication
• Curious into building business processes and optimizing standards
