Job Description: As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Jersey City office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communication with accurately, high quality and in a timely manner. Duties include: Taking and recording vital signs; EKG's. Preparing patients for examinations. Obtain and update patient medication lists. Injections. Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians. EMR, rooming patients, clerical work if needed. Must be willing to travel between multiple locations. Requirements: Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Mandatory Covid-19 vaccine and booster
