The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking classroom based SAT/ACT tutors to instruct one or more SAT Prep classes at local high schools in and around Farmingdale, NY. This position is ideal for a tutor who can tutor all sections of one or both tests. 

The Position:

• Teach SAT or ACT test preparation (all sections) to students in grades 9-12 after school 
• Regular weekly schedule
• Curriculum provided

Requirements:

• An earned Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college 
• A passion for helping others learn
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• Excellent past SAT or ACT scores
• The ability to teach all sections of the SAT or the ACT
• At least 1 year of mentoring, tutoring, or teaching experience
• A willingness to travel locally 

Compensation:

$45-$50/hr with regular reviews
