Job Summary: The LMS Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering a wide variety of courses through a learning management system (LMS) to support AssetWorks’ extensive proprietary software product line. This eLearning role will focus on producing dynamic and engaging course content to support several of our software solutions. This role will work collaboratively with the Product Management, Documentation, Customer Care and Professional Services Delivery teams as subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce a variety of learning solutions targeted to AssetWorks’ customers. The content is expected to be visually appealing, interactive and allow assessments. In addition to the production of the content, this role will be responsible for maintaining the information in the AssetWorks LMS and providing support to customers. This role will report to the Director of Professional Services. Job Description: Responsibilities & Duties Create engaging eLearning activities, exercises, and compelling course content that enhance the learning process with collaboration from internal SMEs. Design and deliver learning products and media in variety of formats including video, graphics, audio, simulations, games, and animation technologies. Create a visualization of instructional graphics, the user interactivity, and the finished product. Incorporate interactive activities that enhance learning and increase knowledge retention, such as sample scenarios, worksheets and quizzes. Devise modes of assessment, such as certification paths, tests and quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives for the end user (customer). Analyze, update, and refine existing content; devise process for archiving older content based on versions supported or unsupported in proprietary software. Perform quality checks on all deliverables prior to launch to ensure reflection of AssetWorks’ brand and strategy. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and process improvement of the LMS program in coordination with stakeholders. Coordinate and schedule appropriate LMS updates with third-party provider. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required with experience in course design a plus. Minimum 3 years’ experience with an LMS tool, preferably as the administrator of the tool. Visual/graphic design skills and comfort turning source material into interactive, visually appealing, and engaging multimedia learning products. A work sample demonstrating your experience and skill using course authoring tools will be required as part of the hiring process. Experience designing innovative content using course authoring/industry tools, LMS tools (Tovuti preferred), Adobe Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, TechSmith Camtasia, and/or similar design tools). Passionate about the learner experience and how to make it better; open to feedback and improving both oneself and the team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently with complex information. Ability to work with a wide range of people and build relationships across the organization Self-motivated individual able to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing demands for resources. Must work well as a team member and as a leader of teams. Strong customer service mentality with the ability to handle challenging situations. Prior experience working with or for a software company for their LMS a plus. Location This is a full-time remote role.
