The Assembly Finance team is seeking a detail oriented, hard-working, and driven Manager, FP&A that will support financial planning and analysis for the team. This role requires an inclusive team player who will assist finance and business leaders in driving financial and transformation decisions.

The Manager role provides an opportunity to work and conduct analysis with key stakeholders across the company. In this position, the Manager will support the Finance team efforts and will report to the Finance Director. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and integrity of forecasts, budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and using analysis to assist in driving informed decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of accounting systems, policies, and procedures
  • Own financial planning processes related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, and client profitability
  • Review AP invoices for fraudulent activity and provide coding for posting to the General Ledger
  • Prepare journal entries for month end accruals
  • Drive operational improvements through automation
  • Build and maintain financial reporting packages and dashboards
  • Conduct research and analysis into issues and questions raised by leadership team to inform decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help optimize business performance, including identifying trends, gaps, insights, and opportunity areas within the business
  • Assist with the media reconciliation processes
  • Ad hoc requests and analyses will be frequent
Requirements:
  • 5 years experience in FP&A or equivalent practical experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced excel skills (lookup & reference formulas, charts, modeling, etc. Ability to quickly pull together/consolidate data for management’s review.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner, at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment, to successful completion, and work within tight deadline
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support, responding to various requests from multiple departments, and perform special projects as needed
  • Strong client-service orientation
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment. Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Media agency experience
  • Experience with Maconomy, Hyperion, Essbase, or MediaOcean

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 annually. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.

In addition to medical, dental and vision coverage, we offer a generous PTO plan, 401k program, comprehensive family planning benefits (including paid parental leave), and pre-tax commuter benefits.
