As a Maintenance Helper, you will assist technicians in executing repairs, inspections, and facility projects that keep our operations running smoothly. We seek a team player who can collaborate effectively to complete work orders and preventive tasks that empower exceptional performance.

Responsibilities:

• Gives priority to and executes on all verbal assignments from production management and maintenance management.
• Completes written work orders as assigned.
• Completes daily tasks from the Facilities checklist.
• Inspects the water boiler daily and is responsible for checking the chemical tank, releasing pressure, and checking salt levels. Makes adjustments to the boiler as needed.
• Assists the mechanics as needed.
• Request parts needed and follow up on them.
• Communicate daily with the maintenance team regarding any issue.
• Conducts daily facility walk-thru inspection, identifying and resolving issues immediately.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of maintenance shop and yard.
• Performs maintenance detail work at the Rialto warehouse as needed.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by any lead, supervisor, manager or other leader.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in maintenance or equivalent, manufacturing environment preferred
• GMP/HACCP Certificate (in-house), sit down & stand-up forklift certified, boom/scissor lift certified

Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $23.00
