Aspire Allergy & Sinus is Hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant Near Mesa, AZ
Description
Aspire Allergy & Sinus are a group of highly experienced Allergists, surgeons, medical providers, and support teams. Our collective mission is to cure patients who suffer from allergy and sinus problems!
Hours: Monday – Thursday (8AM – 5PM), Half-Day Fridays! (8AM – 12PM)
Clinic Location(s): Mesa, Tempe
A Day In The Life of Medical Assistant:
- Willingness to be cross-trained in a variety of both front and back-office duties to provide full cycle clinic support
- Escorting patient to exam room; obtaining vitals, past/present medical history, and current medication list
- Effectively communicating allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients
- Performing all testing and treatment in accordance with Aspire Allergy’s protocols and safety measures
- Administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Navigating EHR system to record accurate patient health information
- Reaching out to insurance providers to obtain CT authorizations
- Scheduling follow-up appointments
- Collecting patient payments for past and current appointments
