What We Are Looking For Position Summary: The Support Engineer is responsible for supporting users in all aspects of IT. They will be the first to act when a user encounters a hardware, software, or network issue. The Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the service desk and fielding incoming tickets. They will work directly with users and will escalate issues if needed. The Support Engineer will also monitor and configure Active Directory and will be heavily involved with onboarding new users. This includes, but is not limited to, creating new user identities, new mailboxes, providing application access, configuring hardware and peripherals, and training new users on company procedures. When the Support Engineer is not working on ticketing/onboarding, they will work on other Infrastructure projects that relate to compute, storage, cloud environments, disaster recovery, network, inventory, patching, and documentation. This role will be exposed to all technologies that fall under the infrastructure department so they can properly support and maintain all business functions within the company. What You Will Do Position Responsibilities: Service desk and fielding end user requests Monitoring the Remote Assist Teams channel Monitoring and responding to infrastructure alerts Onboarding Hardware provisioning Maintaining inventory Active Directory Office 365 Monitors mail flow and mail policies within Proofpoint Patching of workstations and servers Creates and maintains up-to-date documentation Works/trains with senior engineers to get a better understanding of existing infrastructure Supports and maintains VDI environments Works closely with Security team to ensure proper security controls are met What We Require Position Requirements: 3 years of IT support experience required Strong communication skills Office 365 experienced preferred Citrix or other VDI experience preferred Linux experience is a plus Demonstrated commitment to building and maintaining system documentation Demonstrated skill within Windows environments Experience with Office 365 (Exchange Online and Azure AD) Strong troubleshooting skills Self-motivated with the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, challenging environment Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or 5 years equivalent work experience Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a technical and non-technical audience Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and build rapport to influence colleagues at all levels, uncover business issues, and identify needs Demonstrated skill with estimating time, cost, and resource requirements for projects Experience working in a hybrid on- and off-shore model Experience with VoIP / telephony, network printing, desktop support, and network device management Experience with automation What We Provide Compensation: Salaried, DOE Full-Time Full Benefits Package Available What We Believe At Aspida Financial Services, LLC, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
