The ideal candidate is responsible for executing and maintaining media and media contracts under supervision of Media manager, which include but not limited to television, print/newspaper, radio and out of home.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Negotiating, placing, creative scheduling, executing, maintaining media, including television broadcast and cable, print, radio and out of home.
• Running post reports and conducting post buy analysis.
• Invoice reconciliation for media and accounting purposes.
• Data entry and reporting.
• Trafficking media to television, cable and radio.
• Building and maintaining media rep relationships.
• Travel to each market at least once a year to meet with media reps
• Assist in production of tv and radio spots
• Send TV traffic instructions to stations
• Track local and national GRPs by week/promotion to analyze overall effectiveness of spend and media mix
• Ensure campaigns adhere to budget
• Keep up to date with industry numbers, including distribution figures (newspapers and magazines) and audience figures (TV and radio)
• Analyze the effectiveness of campaign and use data to build future campaigns
• Monitor Buying Strategies
• Work with AFHS Corporate to understand national buys and GRPs
• Must have spot media buying experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Required Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
• Operates with some latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. Decisions may require developing or applying options or guides.
• Problems are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, and general precedents and practices.
• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies and practices. Refers unusual problems to supervisor.
• Gather all options and possible outcomes of decisions, and make recommendations based on historical data and budgetary guidelines.
• Ability to read data, and analyze historical data, calculate gross rating points, reach and frequency on regular basis.
• Project/Process Management.
• Exceptional knowledge of excel, word and adobe.
• Organizational skills of contracts and databases.
• Equipment Operation: Demonstrate ability to operate Strata and Wide Orbit.
• Ability to effectively communicate on a professional level with media reps and sales managers.
