REGIONAL CLINICAL NURSE (RN)
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Summary:
Regional Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) for a group of affiliated rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers with locations in Boston, Worcester/Central MA, and Connecticut market. The Regional Clinical RN will work in partnership with the Regional Clinical Director to act as a senior clinical leader for assigned Centers. The Regional Clinical RN must possess strong clinical leadership capabilities, have a passion for team building and strive do ensure the highest quality care and services for the residents in our affiliated Centers.
Essential Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Regional Clinical Director to assist Skilled Nursing Centers to be successful in regulatory compliance and outcomes.
Responsible for 24 hour support of Directors of Nursing Services in regional assignment; actively coaches and supports the leadership team and staff of the Centers
Provides daily visits to Centers in region to support Center and quality assurance/ quality improvement activities and effectiveness of those activities
Develops strong and productive working partnerships with the clinical and operations teams at the Centers
Communicates regularly with leadership regarding current status of clinical services
Maintains clinical programs and services, policies and procedures for the Centers across the division
Demonstrates competency in working with a variety of electronic medical record systems and confidence in educating staff in an electronic environment
Participates in the preparedness of Centers for regulatory and accreditation surveys (DPH, CMS, JCAHO) and post-survey recovery plans of action
Develops strategies to resolve problems identified; actively involved with clinical operations with the leadership team members at the Centers
Any and all responsibilities required to fulfill the role, or assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
Qualifications
Current RN license, BSN preferred, in the State of Massachusetts as well as applying for a Connecticut RN license as well.
Minimum of 3 years Director of Nurses experience required, multi-facility/regional experience strongly preferred
Requires experience in Clinical Care, Infection Prevention, Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, Safety, and Customer Relations.
Ability to multi-task and oversee functions at several Centers daily
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, training and management/leadership skills required
Ability to travel independently to assigned Centers as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
