OVERVIEW: This position reports directly to the Packaging Manager and is responsible for a leading the production areas of packaging. The Packaging Supervisor completes their duties in compliance with the company policy, laws and rules governed by the state.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and team members in areas including punctuality, attendance, records, discipline, performance reviews, and training.
• Tracking team members metrics for pace and quality of work, ensuring that the team is doing work that is assigned to them.
• Divide and direct the team as necessary to ensure all tasks are accomplished.
• Constant improvement of the team's efficiency and performance
• Report on daily activities and production to the packaging manager
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to changing deadlines and priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to drive CI initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must​ ​be​ ​a​t least ​21​ ​years​ ​of​ ​age
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
• Willing to build understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
• Must​ ​be​ ​and​ ​remain​ ​compliant​ ​with​ ​any​ ​and​ ​all​ ​regulatory requirements​ ​for​ ​working​ ​in​ ​the cannabis industry
• Must​ be able to ​obtain​ ​and​ ​retain​ ​a​ ​Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
• Must have excellent organization and time management skills
• Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to internalize training and ​follow instructions
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
• Other duties as assigned
